FNSS, built in 1989 as a joint venture of TURKISH Nurol Group and American BAE Systems, draws attention as being the unique company in the sector with its entire private structure which has an annual turnover of 120 million dollars averagely and attaches great importance to Research and Development. FNSS, having produced more than 2 thousand 500′ vehicles and undersigned various projects so far and aiming for a turnover of 500 million dollars, produces various new generation vehicle primarily tracked and rubber wheeled armored vehicles for Turkish Armed Forces and Allied Armed Forces. Hüseyin Esenergül, The General Director of FNSS Savunma Sistemleri A.Ş./ Defense Industries Inc., which produces armored combat vehicles and weapon systems for Turkish Armored Forces and Allied Armed Forces, indicated that they obtained order amounting to 400 million dollars totally in 200^’ and added ; ” we shall renew 2 thousand M113 from top to bottom within the scope of modernization to be performed for Saudi Arabia , Project total shall cost 2 billion dollars totally”.
