The Turkish Center hosted a doyen of Turkish painting art, Adnan Turani. Having exhibited works of such artists as Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu, Devrim Erbil, Canan Tolon and Ahmet Yeşil, the Turkish Center witnessed the exhibition of a total number of 15 works including 10 oil-on-canvas and 5 on-paper paintings. Supported by Nurol Art Gallery and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the first personal exhibition of Turani in the USA was staged between 9 November and 23 December 2011.
