The bridges of Shams Abu Dhabi project, one of the major construction projects of United Arab Emirates shall be constructed by Nurol Construction. Nurol Construction has undertaken the construction of the 13th bridge in the artificial city where 100 thousand persons shall live. Shams Abu Dhabi project is carried out in Abu Dhabi, the capital of United Arab Emirates. 100 thousand people shall live in Shams Abu Dhabi which was established on artificial Al Reem islands and costs around 7 billion dollars. Mounir Haidar, The CEO of Sorouh Real Estate, the greatest real estate corporation in Abu Dhabi stated that ; Nurol Construction was selected among 12 companies for the construction of the bridge to connect settlement units located on islands thus the contract was signed. 13 bridges are planned to be completed in 640 days within the scope of the project which costs 61 million dollars totally. Shams Abu Dhabi which is planned to be completed until 2011 means; ” the sun of Abu Dhab”. 60% part of Shams Abu Dhabi has been completed so far. Nurol Construction previously constructed and completed in United Arab Emirates; Abu Dhabi-Abu Al Shoum Connection Bridge, Abu Dhabi Khalidiya Palace Rotana Hotel and Residences and Dubai Nakheel International City, Residence – Trade Buildings, Abu Dhabi Khalidiya Palace Rotana Hotel and Residences and Dubai’de Jumeirah Village infrastructural works.
