The FNSS-produced Armored Amphibious Assault Vehicles (ZAHA) marked their debut participation in the training exercises conducted by the Turkish Naval Forces from June 1st to 4th, 2023. During this training mission, the Armored Amphibious Assault Vehicles were deployed from the wet deck of the TCG ANADOLU, moved at sea for a certain period, and successfully landed on the shore.
The ZAHA, the first personnel carrier vehicle in the Armed Forces’ inventory designed for both land and sea operations, and the second vehicle globally equipped with the ability to self-right in case of capsizing and operate in challenging sea conditions, plays a crucial role in highlighting Türkiye’s prowess in ground vehicle design.
