The Turkish defense industry’s major organizations Aselsan and FNSS Defense Systems Inc. came together to develop the ‘unmanned weapons tower’, which will increase the power of destroying the military armored vehicles and which will also reduce the losses mainly for armed forces, mainly the Turkish Armed Forces. The Protocol relating to the development of the system has been signed in the Defense Industry Undersecretariat. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Defense Industry Undersecretary Murad Bayar, while expressing his ambition about the satisfaction of the Turkish Defense Industry companies said that the project’s development and its arrival to the stage of delivery in one year is quite an ambitious Schedule. Bayar said that this R & D, the companies’ technological cooperation using their own resources to in this sector will be an important example for other sector companies. General Manager of FNSS Nail Kurt told that their company also signed important cooperation projects abroad, and they used products of other Turkish companies like Aselsan and MKE in the products they marketed in overseas markets. Aselsan General Manager Cengiz ERGENEMAN, said that the product they will develop will be able to make day and night shots, and it will experience strong demand both at home and abroad.
