Construction of the prototypes of tracked and wheeled water and land weapon carrier vehicles, developed for TAF, have been completed. The new generation of tank hunters KAPLAN and PARS, which can move rapidly over muddy and uneven terrain, as well as asphalt, are getting ready for mass production.
Significant progress has been made in the production of the tracked and wheeled weapon carrying trucks (WCT) required by TAF. FNSS Savunma Sistemleri, in partnership with Nurol Holding and BAE Systems, announced that the tracked KAPLAN and wheeled PARS WCT prototypes developed within the scope of a contract signed with the Undersecretariat for Defence Industries (UDI) have been completed. Following the ongoing verification activities for the KAPLAN WCT and those that will be performed in May by the PARS WCT, qualification tests will be initiated for the two vehicles.
