GEORGIAN President of the Republic Mr. Mikheil Saakashvili has presented Georgia’s most valuable medal of ‘Presidential Distinguished Service Medal’ to Mr. Nurettin Çarmıklı, Head of the Board of Directors of Nurol Holding, for his investments and contribution to the country. Saakashvili also said ‘we have named the most beautiful street of the province after him’. Mr. Nurettin Çarmıklı having made huge investments into particularly the province of Batumi and thus, having made significant contributions to Georgia received another significant award. Saakashvili stated that Mr. Çarmıklı was not only a popular businessman in his country but also one in Georgia and added ‘If Batumi is one of the leading provinces of Georgia, Mr. Nurettin has a major contribution to that. We have named the most beautiful street of the province after him. He, by this means, became a historical personality.’
