Üsküdar Mayor Mustafa KARA, visited Marmaray yesterday with press members. Indicating that 3 thousand 400 meter long Yenikapı-Sögütlüçeşme Line is entirely open, KARA said that the official opening ceremony of Marmaray of which the construction was initiated in 2005 shall be organized on 29 October 2013. Kara stated that in next March, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN and Minister of Transportation Binali YILDIRIM shall make a test drive from Asia to Europe by a vehicle called dekovit.
