Hasan Yücel, Second Chairman of the Mining Development Foundation of Türkiye and Board Member and CEO of TÜMAD, delivered significant messages for the mining sector during his opening speech at the “Sustainability in Mines, Occupational Health and Safety Vision Organization,” which was attended by Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources.
Addressing investors at the “Sustainability in Mines, Occupational Health and Safety Vision Organization,” organized by the Turkish Coal Producers Association (KÖMÜRDER) at a hotel in Ankara, Hasan Yücel said: “Please urgently change your vision in education, supervision, and the use of technological products. According to simulations, by the 2060s, global gold production will reach 130 billion tons, with material movement around 300 billion tons. The world recognizes that without securing raw material supply, it will be impossible for humanity to live, prosper, raise standards, and source raw materials for energy and industry.”
