Official Opening Ceremony Of Yusufeli Viaduct Held

The official opening ceremony of the Yusufeli Main Viaduct took place recently. Featuring pier heights that exceed 150 meters in some sections, the project, implemented using the incremental launching method, includes a 16.2 km road around the dam reservoir, shortened by 15.5 km through a 685-meter viaduct. As a result, the travel time between Yusufeli and Artvin is expected to be reduced by 25 minutes, while annual savings of TRY 30 million in time and TRY 13 million in fuel costs are anticipated. Additionally, the project is expected to reduce carbon emissions by 1,005 tons.
