At the Gebze – İzmir Highway Built- Operate-Transfer Tender offers were opened on 19 June 2009. NUROL – ÖZALTIN – MAKYOL – ASTALDİ – YÜKSEL – GÖÇAY Group of which we are also a member was announced as the group that made the best offer of 22 years and 4 months.
Within the scope of the tender which will become final after the related bureauratic processes and the approvals, the construction and operation of and the transfer of it to the administration of the approximately 420 kms long highway will be realized.
Within the scope of the project for which offers were taken past April, and in the process where capability and technical evaluations were completed in the period that transpired, also Izmit Bay Crosing Bridge will be realized. This bridge will be three kms long, and it will be the second longest suspension bridge as a result of its 1,7 kms long middle span.
