Bodrum Municipality Nurol Cultural Center is hosting an exhibit for the works by our handicapped children studying at Yahşi Education Application School. At the exhibit which opened at 4PM Monday, on May 4th, 2009 there are 110 ceramic works made in a period of approximately two months. At this school in Ortakent, built for the purpose of providing education to our handicapped children, classes began in 2005 after contributions made by our charity people. At this time, the school has 55 handicapped students between the ages of 7 and 33 and 17 teachers. Furthermore, there are two programs at the school: first, a compulsory one for the age group between the ages of 7 and 16, and secondly a vocational schooling for the age group between the ages of 7 and 33. And the good news is that a new ceramic kiln has been bought and is already being used. This will certainly help students turnout more works.
