The Military Land Vehicles Model Competition of FNSS, one of the leading Turkish land vehicle manufacturers, brought modelers and enthusiasts together. FNSS opened its doors for the 11th time this year. Those interested, from all around Turkey, met in FNSS’ plants in Gölbaşı. The event, which hosted modelers from the USA, Poland, Germany and Spain in previous contests, hosted a modeler from Mongolia’s Embassy in Turkey and Mongolia Plastic Modelers Community with the contribution of Turkish Airlines. 45 contestants in 10 different categories were awarded this year. Özgür Güner’s seminar entitled “Current Trends in Modeling” was given in the event and it ended with the demonstration of vehicles produced by FNSS at the test site. FNSS’s tactical wheeled armored vehicle Pars 8×8 and the tracked armored combat vehicle ZMA-15 were watched with their capabilities. The event, which is particularly participated by young modelers, is among corporate social responsibility activities of FNSS. The event, which is distinguished by its uniqueness in the way it is organized by a defense company, offers unparalleled experience to the curious modelers of military land vehicles.
