According to the “100 Wealthiest Study” organized by Ekonomist magazine since 2004, the sum of the assets held by the wealthiest families of Turkey went down to a range between 161.9 billion Dollars and 216.7 billion Dollars. This year’s downward trend in the stock market and the increase in exchange rates led to a slight meltdown of assets based on TL and therefore, a lot of names changed places on the list. Çarmıklı Family ranked 43rd on this year’s list of “100 Wealthiest Turks”.
