It has reached 90 percent in the giant highway project, which will connect the Marmara and the Aegean Region with the motorway network and reduce the transportation between Istanbul and Izmir from 9 hours to 3.5 hours.
The road between Gebze and Bursa, which is one of the most important feet of the project, opened its doors between Bursa and Kemalpaşa and İzmir. The project has a total length of 433 kilometers and consists of 36 viaducts.
12 viaducts were completed between Gebze-Bursa, 6 between Susurluk-Balıkesir-Kırkağaç and 2 between Kemalpaşa and İzmir. Works continue in 16 Viaducts between Bursa and Manisa.
