The broken catwalk has been redone at the İzmir Gulf Crossing construction that is the most important section of the Gebze – Orhangazi – İzmir motorway project. While progressing to the construction of the main bearing cable that would consists of 330 meter long thin cables between two shores, the İzmir Gulf came together with the pearl necklace, by the illumination of the bridge. It is planning that the giant project that would ensure to reduce travel time to 3.5 hours between Istanbul – İzmir, would save 650 million dollar per year. Following the completion of the catwalk of which total length is 6000 meters, it was progressed to the construction of the main bearing cable.
