In “Istanbul-Bursa-Izmir Highway Economic Impact Analysis” report prepared by Bursa Eskisehir Bilecik Development Agency (BEBKA), it is predicted that the highway shall make an annual average contribution of 2 billion Lira to the production and 4 billion Lira to the economy of the region, where more than half of the added value produced in Turkish economy is obtained and employment shall be provided to 11.400 persons due to this reason. It has been stated in the written statement made by BEBKA that “Istanbul – Bursa – Izmir Highway Economic Impact Analysis” report is completed for the highway, which is included among the biggest transportation investments of Turkey and which shall connect Istanbul, Kocaeli, Bursa and Izmir provinces.
