As one of the largest projects in the history of the Republic of Turkey, and leaving its mark in the pages of history as the largest Infrastructure Project ever built based on the “Build-Operate-Transfer” model, the Istanbul–Izmir Highway, which passes over the Osmangazi Bridge (one of the longest suspension bridges in the world) was inaugurated on August 4, 2019, with a ceremony attended by His Excellency President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
As NUROL Construction, we feel the deserved pride in having taken part in this giant project as one of the main partners, and having reduced the driving time between Istanbul and Izmir from 9 hours to 3.5 hours.
We hope this highway will prove to be most beneficial for both our country and our community.
