SAMUR, the amphibious assault bridge which is developed and manufactured by FNSS and regarded to be one of the few products in its field all over the world passed the last qualification test on the 16th May. SAMUR, which was signed between the Undersecretariat for Defence Industries (SSM) and FNSS on 30 January 2007 and is the first contractual land vehicle project with unique design of the Turkish Defence Industry, has been subject to the Bridge Set Tests at Demirci Lake in Gelibolu within the scope of this project. Following the successful completion of the tests, an exhibition was staged on the 17th May in relation to the installation of the bridge set with the participation of Mr. Orhan Öğe, the Deputy Undersecretary of the Corporate Services and Mr. Levent Şenel, the Head of the Land Platforms Department under the Undersecretariat for Defence Industries.
