FNSS Defence Systems Inc. is considered to be product development centre of Turkey for tracked and wheeled armoured vehicles as well as special purpose military vehicles owing to its competent engineers having broad experience in military land vehicles. FNSS’s new generation light tracked armoured vehicle which is developed for the fulfilment of anti-tank, armoured battle and armoured reconnaissance tasks and called as KAPLAN and planned to be exhibited at IDEF for the first time constitute the last link of these solutions. This platform is designed to be a swift vehicle which can perform operations under land conditions where it is impossible to use particularly 18 to 40 ton class vehicles and in geography hosting low-capacity infrastructure of roads and bridges.
