Brunei International Defence Exhibition / BRIDEX was carried out between 12th and 15th of August 2009. The only Turkish Defence Industry company to participate in the Fair has been FNSS Defense Systems Inc. which has involved in close relationships with the countries of the region, especially with Malaysia for many years. Armored Combat Vehicle(ACV) exhibited by FNSS at the fair was able to be the focus of the event. The vehicle which also took its place in the local press, has gained great appreciation from the visitors of the fair. The ACV while performing various shows during the fair, performed a custom show for the Sultan of Brunei Haji Hassanal Bolikah Mu’izzaddin VVaddullah and for Jordan’s King Abdullah Bin Al Hussein, the second. The Kings visiting the FNSS stand after the show, got information regarding products from Nail Kurt, General Manager of FNSS. After successful completion of the exhibition, the ACV left in this country will be exposed to extensive testings by the Brunei Royal Army in October which will continue for nearly one month.
