A significant milestone has been achieved in the Weapons Carrier Project, initiated by the Defense Industry Agency (SSB) in 2015 and led by FNSS as the main contractor. FNSS has delivered its 300th Weapons Carrier (STA) to the Turkish Armed Forces.
The delivery ceremony of the 300th STA at FNSS facilities was attended by numerous military and civilian sector professionals, including the President of the Defense Industry Agency, Prof. Haluk Görgün.
In his opening speech at the program, Nail Kurt, General Manager and CEO of FNSS, underscored the significance of the meticulous work conducted at FNSS in the indigenous design and production processes of the project, as well as the collaboration with nearly 500 solution partners, including Nurol Makina, Aselsan, Roketsan, and SDT. Kurt also emphasized the accumulation of substantial know-how through collaboration with numerous domestic companies involved in the design and production of vehicle electronics, mechanical subsystems, and parts. He noted that a sustainable supply management cycle has been achieved by transferring this know-how to other platforms designed by FNSS.
