President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who was in Malaysia to attend the Kuala Lumpur Summit, met with Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Muhammed at the Prime Ministry building in Putrajaya. During the meeting, 15 agreements were signed between the two countries in the presence of President Erdoğan and Prime Minister Mahathir.
The Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement between Turkey and Malaysia on Science and Technology was signed by Mustafa Varank, Minister of Industry and Technology, and Yeo Bee Yin, Malaysian Minister of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change; and a Goodwill Agreement regarding the Manufacture of Land Vehicles was signed between Nurol Makina and Nadi Corp.
