Many companies from the defence and aerospace sector have featured in the “R&D 250” survey, which ranks Turkish companies in terms of their R&D spending. The survey considered the 2018 R&D expenditures of companies, and was carried out by Turkishtime based on data from different sources, including information from the export list prepared by the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly (TİM), statements by companies registered on Borsa Istanbul made on the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), and reports submitted to the “R&D 250” survey by companies with R&D centres approved by the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
