In the build – operate – transfer tender of Gebze – İzmir Highway, the bid letters were opened on 19 June 2009 and NUROL – ÖZALTIN – MAKYOL – ASTALDİ – YÜKSEL – GÖÇAY Group was announced to have placed the best bid with 22 years and 4 months.
Within the scope of the tender which will be finalized after some relevant bureaucratic procedures and approvals, the delivery will be carried out at the end of the period of the turnkey construction of the 420 km long motorway and its operation.
In addition, the world’s second longest suspension bridge İzmit Bay Crossing Bridge with a 3.0 km in length and 1.7 km in mid-span length will be constructed within the scope of the project whose bids were received in the last April and then relevant qualification and technical evaluations were completed.
