The Lapseki Public Education Center achieved award-winning success by receiving the “Lifelong Learning Good Practice Examples” award from the Lapseki Public Education Center Directorate. The project, conducted in collaboration with TÜMAD Mining, garnered significant attention with its 84-hour beekeeping training program offered to women in Şahinli, Dumanlı, and Kocabaşlar villages. As part of this initiative, 15 women entrepreneurs received certificates, and 30 beehives were given as a gift by TÜMAD Mining. The project, operating under the theme “Queen Bees,” earned recognition from the Ministry of National Education’s General Directorate of Lifelong Learning as one of the top 10 practices nationwide.
