Sedef Yılmabaşar, who has come to be known as the “Cat Painter” reunited with art-lovers of Ankara after a long wait. Art exhibition of Yılmabaşar was displayed at the Nurol Art Gallery, located on Güvenevler Gelincik Street. Sedef Yılmabaşar was last hosted by Ankara during a joint exhibition with her mother, artist Jale Yılmabaşar, back in 2012. With the high turn-out for the opening night of the exhibition, within the scope of which 36 acrylic paintings on canvas were displayed, Yılmabaşar expressed her gratitude for the interest shown. Yılmabaşar reflected on her impressions with these words, “Just like all my previous exhibitions, there is a very welcoming crowd here. Our guests have just started to arrive but a very warm-hearted environment indeed, I am so pleased with the audiences. The remarks and attention towards the exhibition is quite satisfying.”
