Defense Industry Executive Committee which gathered under the presidency of PRIME MINISTER Erdoğan has taken significant decisions. It has been decided that 30 F- 16 shall be purchased in order to reply Turkish Air Forces’ short term combat aircraft. Moreover; authority has been introduced to the Undersecretary of Defense Industry for the purchase of 100 F-35, “New Generation Combat Aircraft” Purchase of attack helicopters has been delayed due to technical reason. Negotiations for a contract shall be initiated with FNSS Company for the development of Mobile Water Attack Bridge Vehicle System within national possibilities.
