25 % of Samanli Tunnel, the construction of which was commenced last year within Gebze-Orhangazi-İzmir Highway and Gulf Passage Bridge Project, has been completed. The works in the 1,700 meter long tunnel are carrying on bidirectionally. The construction in the Samanli Tunnel, which is given a start from Altinova region and will be finalized in Ortakoy, Orhangazi region, proceeds at full speed and the builder who continues the construction stated that the works on 3700 meter-long Samanli Tunnel are carried on bidirectionally; both from Altinova and Orhangazi directions.
