Construction of the Deep

Utilities,

SAADIYAT ISLAND

Project Manager: Akram HIJAZI
Owned by the Tourism Development and Investment
Company (TDIC), the Deep Utilities Project is being carried out
under the consultancy of Parsons International at Saadiyat
Island (comprising a 1.422 meter sewer line with a diameter
of 160mm to 1.400 mm, and a depth of up to 12 meters; a
pressured sewer line of 1.267 meters with a diameter of 450
mm and a depth of 4 meters; an irrigation line of 2.155 meters,
with a diameter of 160 mm to 225 mm and a depth of 2,5
meters; and a pressured irrigation line of 5.756 meters, with
a diameter of 450 mm to 630 mm and a depth of 4,5 meters,
along with all associated outbuildings [valves, manholes,
pressure tanks etc.]). The project was delivered on March 24,
2018, and provisional acceptance certificate taken on June 18,
2018.

MARİNA MALL

EXTENSION PHASE - II

(Utilities Diversion Package)

Project Manager: Farhan İsmail ASAFRA

Owned by the National Investment Corporation (NIC),
and supervised by Khatib & Alami as the consultant.
The extension to the Marina Mall foresees installation
of underground services to its south wing (i.e.
telecommunications, MV electrical cables, sewer pipes,
rainwater evacuation, central cooling system, natural gas
and landscape irrigation), as well as the construction of
loading-unloading areas, ramps, heavy vehicle waiting/
parking areas, natural gas and solid fuel tanks, security
camera systems, and access and connection routes. The
project was delivered on September 23, 2018.
