amenities include a 750 - square meters Shine Spa, as well
as indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a state - of -
the art Sheraton Fitness. The most modern and elegant, a
1.500 m casino is located on the ground floor, with a

On May 17 2010, the ribbon was cut by the-then President
of Georgia Mr. Mikheil Saakashvili and the-then Prime
Minister of Turkey Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Many national and international dignitaries visited our
hotel in years 2010 - 2019, including Presidents of Georgia,
Armenia, Switzerland, Poland, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Crown
Prince of Monaco Albert II, many prime ministers and
ministers from surrounding countries, congressmen from
USA and high delegations from Europe. Sheraton Batumi
Hotel was also honored by visit of worldwide known
celebrities like Placido Domingo, Andrea Bocelli, Mayce
Gray, Sting, Criss Botti, Enrique Iglesias, Jamiroquai and
Aerosmith Group; The Chairman of Ajara Government also
visits the hotel from time to time.

Some of the organizations held in the hotel were:

Berlin Chemie, US Aid, United Nations Movement, NATO,
UGT conference, local government meetings, MTV, Green
Conference, European Ministries of Environment,
Universal Consulting- Event : “Budget Advocacy in
Transition, and Startup meeting for country consortia (This
workshop brings together community-based and civil
society organizations engaged in the process of
implementing the Global Fund funded project “Harm
Reduction Works – Fund it!” and “Partnership for equitable
access to the HIV care continuum in the EECA region" and
to provide a platform for efficient budget advocacy in each
