GEBZE - İZMİR HIGHWAY
OTOYOL Yatırım ve Işletme A.Ş. has been established
as a special-purpose entity in Ankara on 20 September
2010 to build, operate and transfer the Gebze-Orhangazi-
Izmir (including IIzmit Bay Crossing and Connection
Roads) Motorway Project through the Build-Operate-
Transfer Model. Its capital is 250.000.000 TL and has been
paid off.
Regarding to the Project, the Implementation
Contract has been signed between OTOYOL YATIRIM VE
IŞLETME A.Ş. and the General Directorate of Highways
Following the signature of a
contract with the Japanese IHI-ITICHU
Consortium as the subcontractor for
the suspension bridge in our project,
the Partnership brings the detailed
project design works to a conclusion.
In the highway sections of the
project, on the one hand new
construction works have been initiated
after expropriation and on the other
hand, activities already initiated are
on-going.
on 27 September 2010. The construction of the project
was undertaken with the contract signed on 14 July
2011 by Gebze-Izmir Highway Construction (NÖMAYG)
Inc., a joint venture established by members of company
partnership. In addition to this, the construction of the
Izmir Bay Suspension Bridge, the most important part of
the project, was tendered to IHI Infrastructure Systems
Co.Ltd. – ITOCHU Corporation Consortium established
by Japanese firms and the relevant contract was signed
on 16 July 2011 between NÖMAYG Inc. and the Japanese
Consortium.
