Nurol Makina, which has exhibited EJDER YAL\u00c7IN 4×4 and EJDER TOMA for the first time at IDEF 2013 also introduced EJDER KUNTER, the new member of EJDER product family in this year\u2019s fair. EJDER KUNTER, which is the latest product of Nurol Makina\u2019s strategy of developing classes of vehicles which are not available in Turkey, is an armor protected truck that can operate on the battlefield primarily for logistics purposes. EJDER KUNTER shall have 4 x 4, 6 x 4 or 6 x 6 versions. EJDER KUNTER is exhibited as 6×4 logistics support truck version together with the integrated loading system of HIAB company. The tanker module produced by WEW company, with which cooperation agreement is signed during the fair also took part as the supporting element of the truck. A Vehicle like EJDER KUNTER equipped with a module that can be loaded and unloaded through an additional transport system installed on the vehicle and without any need for an external equipment, can travel to challenging regions in the battlefield with its armor protection and off – road performance, can unload the module and leave the region by loading a different module if necessary. Furthermore the border surveillance versions of YAL\u00c7IN 4 x 4, EJDER TOMA and ILGAZ 4 x 4 vehicles are also exhibited in the stand of Nurol Makina. Nurol Makina signed 3 agreements during the fair. The first one is signed with Ankara based GFDS company within the scope of development of an innovative technology. The armored personnel carriers can offer a limited external vision to their crew due to their protection requirements. This limited external vision causes disadvantage on two subjects: the vehicle commander is in possession of situational awareness with the vision system he uses, the situational awareness of the transferred personnel remains at a very low level. The personnel transferred to or passing through dangerous regions remain under a psychological pressure due that they do not have full vision of what is happening outside. Nurol Makina and GFDS joining forces to eliminate these disadvantages are cooperating in the design of an optical system, which shall permit 360 degrees sight of the external side of the vehicle from the internal side of the vehicle. The solution based on Epson BT – 200 augmented reality glasses is displayed in the fair on ILGAZ 4 x 4. The agreements between Nurol Makina and GFDS are signed in the second day of the fair. In the speech he has delivered during the signature ceremony, the Assistant General Manager of Nurol Makina An\u0131l Karel listed the advantages to be introduced by the system. He stated that they have exhibited the first prototype in ILGAZ 4 x 4 vehicles and said that they have affixed the signatures in the fair for further improvement of the system. The CEO of GFDS Mert O\u011fuzata stated that they have used glasses which are not commercially used but provided to special projects and that they have signed for a future oriented cooperation. Nurol Makina affixed the second signature on the same day with Germany based WEW company in relation with the cooperation for the use of the tanker and module systems of the company on EJDER KUNTER armored truck. During the speech he delivered at the ceremony, the Business Development Director of WEW Peter Hughes said “We are following some projects in Turkey. We had the first contact with Nurol Holding.
