Fikri Demirel, The Member of Parliament of Yalova of the Justice and Development Party informed that the Orhangazi Samanl\u0131 Tunnel having the calling of the \u201cTurkey\u2019s longest tunnel\u201d that has been constructed within the scope of the Gebze – Orhangazi – \u0130zmir motorway Project is completed. Demirel inspected the Orhangazi Samanl\u0131 Tunnel that has been constructed within the scope of the Gebze – Orhangazi – \u0130zmir motorway Project and got information on the studies from the authoritative. At the explanation of Fikri Demirel, The Member of Parliament emphasized that the tunnel is a great acquisition for Turkey. Demirel noted that, \u201cthe Orhangazi Samanl\u0131 Tunnel is the longest tunnel of Turkey, with a length of 3591 meters. This tunnel has been completed in a short time such as 2 years, I hope that will be inaugurated within a few months, with motorway , I also hope that by means of the \u0130zmit Gulf Crossing, our citizens departing from Istanbul will be able to reach tor the places in Aegean and Mediterranean they would like to arrive to, by means of this motorway and this tunnel, with its Suspended Ceiling, of which inauguration is considered in the next March in a very relaxed& comfortable manner, hopefully.\u201d Demirel, expressed that the Tunnel has been constructed according to the European Standards and sizes, passed judgment on that \u201cAll kinds of precautions have been taken against to all kinds of negation that might be occurred in the tunnel, in gratitude towards to the state of the art technology furnished, throughout of the tunnel within the scope of the project.
