The last section of the \u0130zmit Bay Suspension Bridge, the foundation of which was laid in 2013, that is described as the collar of Gulf of \u0130zmit and a key part of the Gebze-Orhangazi-\u0130zmir Highway, which will shorten the travel time between \u0130stanbul and \u0130zmir to 3.5 hours, was installed in a ceremony attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan, Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto\u011flu and Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Binali Y\u0131ld\u0131r\u0131m. The bridge, which was announced at the said ceremony by the President to be named after the founder of the Ottoman Empire “Osman Gazi”, is planned to be unveiled before Ramadan.
