The King of Malaysia, His Majesty Al Sultan Abdullah Ri\u2019ayatuddin Al Mustafa Billah Shah, visited FNSS, together with the Malaysian Minister of Economy, Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul bin Tengku Abdul Aziz, on 17 August 2022 The King Al Sultan Abdullah came to T\u00fcrkiye at the official invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan.<\/p>\n
His Majesty Al Sultan Abdullah was welcomed at FNSS by The Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, Nurol Holding and FNSS board member G\u00fcrol \u00c7arm\u0131kl\u0131 and FNSS executives. The King of Malaysia His Majesty Al Sultan Abdullah, closely examined FNSS\u2019s Tracked and Wheeled armoured vehicles and was briefed with the company\u2019s projects and activities. Within the scope of the presentation, FNSS\u2019s over 20 years of efforts to strengthen Malaysian local defence industry and contribution to Malaysian Armed Forces deterrence were marked. FNSS together with its local partner Deftech are the number one supplier of Malaysian Army for the Armored Combat Vehicles. Following the Malaysian ADNAN ACV programs completed between 2000-2010, the ongoing AV-8 GEMPITA 8×8 Wheeled Armored Vehicle Program, which was signed in 2011 are carried out jointly at Deftech facilities in Pekan, Pahang.<\/p>\n

After the presentation at the company\u2019s test site, an armoured vehicle demonstration was held. The visit was completed with a lunch given at FNSS in honour of His Majesty Al Sultan Ab dullah.
