T\u00dcMAD Madencilik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.\u015e., which continues its activities in line with international standards respecting nature, people, and the environment, has added a new one to Sustainable Community Development Projects.<\/p>\n
The “Strawberry Scented Fields” project was implemented with a ceremony in cooperation with Bal\u0131kesir Metropolitan Municipality Rural Services Department, Havran Municipality, and T\u00dcMAD Mining to revive strawberry production, which was carried out in the \u00c7ak\u0131rdere District of Havran district in Bal\u0131kesir previously but has started to be forgotten due to economic impossibilities in recent years.<\/p>\n
Bal\u0131kesir Metropolitan Mayor Y\u00fccel Y\u0131lmaz, who in person helped the seedlings to meet the soil, said, “First of all, I would like to thank the T\u00dcMAD Mining Facility officials. If there is activity, there is abundance. They brought action here, and fertility will follow. ”<\/p>\n
As part of the Sustainable Community Development Project, under the leadership of T\u00dcMAD Mining, 220 thousand strawberry seedlings met soil benefitting 44 households in the \u00c7ak\u0131rdere Neighbourhood of Havran District in cooperation with Bal\u0131kesir Metropolitan and Havran Municipalities.<\/p>\n
The Strawberry Scented Fields project is planned to increase agricultural production. The project’s aim, in addition to the increase in individual farming, is that the whole village produces strawberries to increase the bargaining share of the village. At the beginning of 2022, an agreement was reached with an industrial organization on wholesale purchase as a village. With their added value, 220 thousand strawberry seedlings will breathe life into both \u00c7ak\u0131rdere and Bal\u0131kesir economies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
