President Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan stated that Il\u0131su Dam was to be renamed Veysel Ero\u011flu Dam, after the former Minister of Forestry and Water Affairs. We have placed the last block on top of the 318-meter tower of the bridge in \u00c7anakkale, which will be one of the largest bridges in the world, with its 2023 meter central span. The tower commemorates the 18 March Victory.
