\nPresident Erdo\u011fan attended the Commissioning Ceremony of the 1st Turbine of the Power Plant of Il\u0131su Dam via a video link-up. Stating that the first unit, which has a capacity of 200 MW, was commissioned in the first phase, President Erdo\u011fan provided the following information about the hydroelectric power plant, which has a total annual energy generation capacity of 4.1 billion kWh: \u201cBy putting into service one turbine each month, we will have commissioned Il\u0131su with full capacity by the end of the year. The total cost of Il\u0131su has reached 18 billion liras, taking into account the expenditures for relocations, the protection of historical and cultural artifacts, the construction and other expenses.
