New anti-tank vehicles equipped with anti-tank turrets are joining the inventories of the land elements of the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF). The first delivery under the Anti-Tank Vehicles Project, being carried out under a contract signed between the Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB) and FNSS, one of Turkey\u2019s armoured land vehicles manufacturers, will be made today. In this context, two KAPLAN tracked anti-tank vehicles will be presented to the use of the security forces in accordance with the project schedule. Unveiled at the 14th International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF’19) this year, KAPLAN has successfully passed the challenging performance and firing tests conducted within the scope of the project. In order to increase combat effectiveness, the indigenously produced anti-tank missiles in the inventory of the Turkish Land Forces have been integrated into armoured vehicles with specially developed anti-tank turrets.
