Yavuz Batum, CEO of Otoyol Yat\u0131r\u0131m ve \u0130\u015fletme, stated that the final section of the project, linking Saruhanl\u0131 and Bursa will, according to plans, be opened to traffic in October 2019, marking the completion of the motorway that has a total length of 405 kilometres. \u201cThe final stage of this project, which has involved a total investment of $8 billion, will be opened to traffic by November 2019, running between Izmir and Saruhanl\u0131 and featuring seven intersections, two viaducts, 52 bridges and the 1.6-kilometre Belkahve Tunnel.
