The construction of the Il\u0131su Dam and Powerplant has commenced 10 years ago on the Tigris River and now it is about to be finished. Due to its volume coming just after the Atat\u00fcrk Dam, Il\u0131su will annually generate 4 billion 120 million kilowatt-hour power, 1 billion Turkish Liras in value.
