volume in 2006, rising by 78% compared
to 2005, while the total trade volume in
equity market of ISE, increased just by
20% in the same period. The market share
of NSI, grew up to 1,05% in 2006 while
it was 0,71% in 2005.
On the Turkish Derivatives Exchange
side, NSI also carried on its successful
activities in 2006 and reached to 0,72%
market share with a trading volume of
YTL258,4 million.
Investors continued to benefit from our
interactive website NUROL ONLINE (www.nurolonline.com)
in 2006 as well. Through NUROL ONLINE,
NSI clients can interactively trade
stocks, get access to up-to-date
research reports and analyses, market
commentaries, and account information as
well as access to an NSI customer
representative, all in real-time.
Under the corporate finance activities,
NSI has participated in 5 IPO’s as a
consortium member among 15 primary IPOs
in the market realized in 2006. Besides,
the Corporate Finance department carried
on financial feasibility studies,
company valuations and investment
analysis in various industries in 2006.
The Research Department provides
investors daily and monthly bulletin
reports. Case Studies/Reports on the
Turkish economy, various sectors and
companies as well as One-pager Company
