Our company, Nurol L.L.C., was established in the United Arab Emirates in 2003 by Nurol Construction and Trading Company Co. Inc. and H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan. Nurol Construction and Trading Company Co. Inc., headquartered in Ankara, Turkey, has been a general contractor since 1966 with the current activities in total fourteen countries in Asia, Europe, and Africa. Both Nurol L.L.C. and Nurol Construction and Trading Company Co. Inc. are the members of the Nurol Group of Companies, which is currently comprised of nearly 40 companies in Turkey and abroad, operating in a wide spectrum of sectors.
Nurol L.L.C. has offices in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and holds a special category license in Infrastructure, Roads, Tunnels, Bridges, Highrise and Mass Housing Projects, Steel Structures, Dams, and Utilities Services to undertake construction activities in the United Arab Emirates and GCC Countries.
Although we have been operating in the U.A.E. for only eight years, over this short period of time we have shown an exemplary record of growth having over eight thousand employees and have already successfully completed seven projects; totaling 503 million $:
“The Connecting Bridge between Abu Dhabi and Al Reem Island” for the Private Department of H.H. Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Tamouh Investment.
“International City Residential/Commercial Buildings, Package 9” for Nakheel Inc. and consisting of 29 blocks in the English style.

Currently we have four ongoing projects in the Emirates and having over two thousand employees, two of them in Abu Dhabi and two in Dubai, totaling over 792 million $:
“Bridge and Tunnels at IP-44 and Sea Palace Intersection on Al Salam Street” for M/s. Department of Municipal Affairs (Abu Dhabi Municipality).
“Jumeirah Village Triangle Zone (1) total 856 Nos. Villas & Town Houses” for M/s. Nakheel.
“400 Ha Infrastructure Works in Jumeirah Park” for Nakheel Inc.

In addition to these, we are in the running for several prestigious projects, either through tenders or through direct negotiations with clients, and we are confident that our portfolio of awarded contracts will continue to grow in line with the reputation we are building for ourselves in the U.A.E. market despite the global economic downturn.

Background;
The tender for Motorway project for Gebze - Orhangazi - Izmir (including İzmit bay crossing and Connection Roads) was conducted on 9 April 2009 and the proposal submitted by Nurol - Özaltın -Makyol - Astaldi - Yüksel - Göçay Group was determined to be the best proposal with 22 years and 4 months construction and operating period.
OTOYOL YATIRIM VE İŞLETME A.Ş. was founded on 20 September 2010 with the contribution of the companies (Nurol - Özaltın -Makyol - Astaldi - Yüksel - Göçay) through equal shares to perform the works of construction, operation and transfer of Gebze - Orhangazi – Izmir (including İzmit bay crossing and Connection Roads) Motorway Project through Build - Operate - Transfer model.
The project implementation agreement was signed by and between General Directorate of highways and OTOYOL YATIRIM VE İŞLETME A.Ş. on 27 September 2010.
The ceremony for start of construction works in Gebze for Gebze - Orhangazi - Izmir Motorway Project was held on 28 October 2010 in Dilovasi district of Kocaeli Province and Ceremony for start of construction works in İzmir was held in Alsancak Cumhuriyet Square on 27 February 2011.
In 2011, Otoyol Yatırım ve İşletme A.Ş.
Procured services such as gulf soil surveys, motorway route soil surveys, signature of Motorway and Suspended Bridge construction contract and design works, legal infrastructure studies and project consultancy services for the motorway project and performed activities required for preliminary preparation activities in physical aspects and project financing.
The project financing has reached a significant level upon signature of Mandate letters with local and international banks on 10 November 2011.
Project and Route
As this new project will shorten the route about 140 km when compared to current state highway, the travel time corresponding to 8-10 hours will be shortened to 3,5 – 4 hours, which will provide TL 870 million saving a year in turn.
The start point of the project is Gebze and the Motorway will pass İzmit bay located between Dilovası and Hersek through a Suspended Bridge of about 3000 meters length, will extend to Orhangazi and Gemlik and be connected to Bursa Ring Road at Ovaakça junction.
The project has a total length of 412 km including a highway length of 377 km and an access road length of 44 km. Along the route, there are 31 viaducts with a total length of 18.312 m, 2 tunnels with a total length of 5.142 m, 199 bridges, 21 toll collection areas, 26 intersections, 6 Highways and 2 Tunnel Maintenance-Operation Centres, as well as 7 Service Stations and 7 Parking Areas, apart from the Izmit Bay Suspension Bridge and the Northern/ Southern Approach Viaducts.
The project is 421 km long in total, consisting of 377 km motorway and 44 km connection roads. The cost incurred until now for the project is 130 million $.

EEnova was established in 2003 with the partnership of Nurol and Ozaltin in order to produce and sell
electric energy. Our company took over Ceyhan Hydroelectric Plant's production license for 49 years with build - operate model from the Energy Market Regulatory Authority in 2006.
Our project Oskan and Berkman, which is a composed of regulators and power plants over Ceyhan River in Osmaniye, is expected to produce 250 million kWh energy annually with its 63 MW installed power.
Our renewable energy project with the investment value of approximately 168 million dollars and 660 people of employment creation, will contribute to carbon oscillation by reducing 160.000 tons of CO2.
Ceyhan HPP's (its units have been commisioned consecutively in 2010) operating team is increasing its experience for optimum operating conditions and also carrying out marketing and sales of generated electricity energy with its trading team. Generated electricty is sold under competetive free market conditions.
On behalf of Nurol and Özaltın groups, while developing a business plan standing on a long term operation and taking position in energy sector, Enova Energy also contributes to the region with its social welfare projects. In Karagedik and Kumarlı villages, construction of a primary school and a mosque were completed by our company for the purpose of social welfare.
Our Company undertook and successfully completed an important investment at energy field which plays leading role in development of countries. At the same time, Company also endeavors to make the society's social level better. Social welfare project, which are become more important and supported all around the world, are very supportive and helpful for all communities, especially for people at where the projects are realized.

Established in 2007, Nurol Gulf W.L.L. has a very good reputation in the market and the company is known for its expertise in the design, fabrication and erection of heavy structural steel works such as mega hangars, airport terminal buildings, stadium and sport facilities, warehouses, architectural façade steel works, bridges, car-parks, pipe-racks as well as industrial steel works such as boilers, heat exchangers, carbon steel and stainless steel piping, spools, pressure vessels, tanks conforming to API standards, turn key industrial plants, cement factory equipment, cranes and material handling systems.
Nurol Gulf W.L.L. fabrication plant, which is located in the New Industrial Area in Qatar-Doha, is built on a 46.406 square meter plot. 19,000 square meters of covered production facility, houses CNC plasma & oxy cutting machines, CNC pipe cutting machine, CNC band saw line, CNC drilling line, automated built-up section welding lines, inlet and outlet shot blasting lines, plate bending machine, hydraulic presses, painting facilities.

Nurol Georgia LLC., established in 2006 and based in Batumi, has began its activities by undertaking the construction of the Sheraton Batumi Hotel which was completed and opened to service in 2010.
The construction of Georgia Ministry of Internal Affairs Police Forces Headquarter Complex was another undertaking of our company which began in 2007 and completed in 2009.
Despite the negative conditions experienced in 2008, Nurol Georgia restlessly continues to progress with new projects. It also conducts its activities within the scope of Namakhvani HEPP Project with Build - Own - Operate Model in order to build the processes with Nurol Energy as co-investor.
Construction works of the project which will have a total production capaticy of 450 MW is planned to start within the next year.

The RGM TURKEY A.S is a joint venture which has been complementing the range of services of the RGM Facility Management GmbH in Turkey since October 2010. NUROL Holding Inc., Ankara, which brings its already established FM activities into the joint venture, is its partner.
